Direct Thermal vs. Thermal Transfer: Which is Right for You?
Choosing the right printing method depends on how long you need your label to last and the environment it will be in.
1. Direct Thermal Printing
How it works: This method uses chemically treated, heat-sensitive media. The print head applies heat directly to the label surface, which turns black to create your image or text. No ink, toner, or ribbon is required.

2. Thermal Transfer Printing
